Sunday Hull

Sunday graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2020 with a major in History and Literature and French and a minor in Psychology. She completed an honors thesis in Vietnamese Francophone literature. During her time as an undergraduate, Sunday worked as a Research Assistant in the Nock Lab. Under the guidance of Shirley Wang, she examined self-harm and suicide among LGBT+ adolescents through a final project exploring additional risks among youth using new/emergent labels. In addition to her research work, Sunday has been a volunteer with the Samaritans crisis line since 2014, where she currently answers the phone during weekly shifts and assists with new volunteer training. She has experience working directly with adolescents through teaching English with the Refugee Youth Summer Enrichment program and volunteering with the Waltham House, a residential group home for LGBT+ youth. After her time at the DCRP, Sunday plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on mood disorders and suicide in adolescents.
