Caitlyn graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2025 with a B.A. in Biosociology & Medical Ethics and a Pre-Health Professions Certificate. As an undergraduate, she worked in research labs at UT and MGH, contributing to studies on racial stress, trauma, and the biological impacts of early adversity. Her honors thesis focused on how medical training and patient-provider relationships affect health outcomes. She was involved in UT's student government and the CD Doyle Free Clinic, helping to expand mental health education and research opportunities for undergraduates. At the DCRP, she coordinates clinical trials in the Heat Cohort, focusing on temperature-based treatments for depression and Long COVID. She plans to pursue a career in as a physician with a focus on health equity.
