Kate Bentley, PhD

Dr. Kate Bentley is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Clinical Psychologist in the DCRP. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University and completed her predoctoral internship in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy track at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her research is focused on suicidal and nonsuicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors and acute affective disorders and experiences. Dr. Bentley is particularly interested in using mobile devices to study these phenomena as they occur in real-time, and ultimately developing scalable, novel interventions for individuals at risk of suicide.
