
Paulina Gutierrez-Ramirez is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and completed premedical studies at Harvard Extension School. Currently, she is a Program Coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinator at the Depression Clinical and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She oversees a team of research staff and interns managing multiple clinical studies focused on novel treatments for depression. Paulina’s research contributions focus on mental health interventions for dementia family caregivers, digital therapeutics, and mobile health applications. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Aging & Mental Health and Journal of Affective Disorders Reports, and has presented her work at national conferences, including the American Psychiatric Association and the Gerontological Society of America. As a bilingual in English and Spanish, Paulina is passionate about advancing equitable access to mental health care for underserved communities and older populations.
