MGH has been at the forefront of many scientific advances in treatments for depression.

Dr. Nhi-Ha Trinh, director of clinical services, also directs multicultural studies at the DCRP. She is also the Director of the MGH Psychiatry Center for Diversity; the Associate Director and Advisor of the Oliver Wendell Holmes Society, Harvard Medical School; and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, HMS.  Her academic interests focus on addressing issues of culture in psychiatry research and practice. She is the course co-director for the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Sociocultural Series. Her clinical research at the DCRP focuses on designing and evaluating mental health interventions to increase access to mental health care for underserved minority populations with depression.
