MGH has been at the forefront of many scientific advances in treatments for depression.

Dr. Cusin is the Director of Translational Studies in Depression at MGH and is Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Cusin performs consultations for patients with treatment-resistant depression and bipolar disorder. She has specific expertise in psychopharmacology and device-based therapies including ECT, VNS, DBS. She is the co-Director of the MGH Ketamine clinic for depression and she is the primary investigator in research studies on ketamine in treatment-resistant mood disorders at MGH.
