MGH has been at the forefront of many scientific advances in treatments for depression.

Dr. Lauren Fisher is a clinical psychologist at the DCRP, an Assistant in Psychology at MGH, and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. She is the Principal Investigator of a study that will develop and evaluate a cognitive behavioral treatment for depression that has been adapted for individuals with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. Along with her colleagues at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, she is also examining the longitudinal course of depression and suicidal behavior in patients with traumatic brain injury.
