Depression treatments that are available today are the result of decades of research.

Have you been feeling down, depressed, or hopeless?

You may be eligible to participate in a research study at Massachusetts General Hospital.

We are studying the brain chemistry of people who get better taking an FDA approved antidepressant medication and people who get better taking a placebo.

You will receive FDA approved bupropion XL (Wellbutrin XL®) or placebo for 4 weeks to 8 weeks and undergo two positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance (PETMR) scans.

You will be compensated up to $832.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Madison McKee at 617-724-3520 or at mmckee3@partners.org. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
