Dr. Kate Bentley is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, a Clinical Psychologist in the DCRP, and Director of the Suicide Prevention Research Program in the MGH Center for Precision Psychiatry. Dr. Bentley’s research is focused on the prediction, treatment, and prevention of suicidal and nonsuicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. Dr. Bentley is particularly interested in using mobile devices to study these phenomena as they occur in real-time, and ultimately developing scalable, novel interventions for individuals at risk of suicide, particularly during high-risk care transition periods.
