Kate Gasparro

Kate Gasparro is excited to join the DCRP as a co-op student for the Spring semester. She is a fourth-year Psychology major at Northeastern University. During her first co-op, Kate gained valuable experience as a clinical assistant at the Baker Center for Children and Families, where she helped to write comprehensive reports, coordinate sessions, and foster meaningful interactions with clients. She also spent the past two semesters as a research assistant in the Social Emotions Lab directed by Dr. David DeSteno, studying how the capitalization of positive events impacts various emotions. At the DCRP, Kate looks forward to expanding her research experience by assisting with the KETAMIND study and Dr. Lauren Fisher's cognitive behavioral therapy study.
