Julia Christiano is an undergraduate co-op student from Northeastern University, where she studies Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. While at Northeastern, she has worked in the Social Emotions Lab, where she studied how expressions of gratitude impact job satisfaction and productivity in the workplace. She was also a research assistant in the Sustainability & Social Change Lab, where she assisted in developing new studies that investigate how social perceptions influence attitudes toward politics and climate change. For her first co-op, she worked as a research assistant in the PRISMM Lab at Boston Medical Center on a study investigating the efficacy of a PTSD therapy among a marginalized patient population. After she graduates, Julia hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
