Dr. Joshua E. Curtiss, PhD, is currently an associate researcher at MGH with the DCRP and an assistant professor at Northeastern University. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the DCRP, as well as with the OCD and Related Disorders Program at MGH. He completed his doctoral program in clinical psychology at Boston University. As a clinical scientist, Dr. Curtiss’ research interests pertain to leveraging state-of-the-art statistical approaches to address questions relating to the nosology and treatment of emotional disorders. Specifically, his research embraces statistical procedures that foster idiographic and precision medicine approaches to clinical psychology (e.g., machine learning, intensive time-series approaches, network theory, etc.). Additionally, he has substantive interests in emotion regulation and mindfulness research.
